Lorenzo graduated with a B.S. in Psychology and Human Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. He joined the Tucker Stem Cell Lab in 2016 as a post-baccalaureate student. During his time in the lab, he used disease modeling as a means to interrogate the pathophysiology of Batten disease. He's currently pursing a PhD in neuroscience at Washington University in St. Louis under the mentorship of Dr. Erik Herzog.
