Kristan is passionate about using engineering principles to overcome human health challenges. She uses photopolymerization and high-resolution 3D printing to create tissue scaffolds for retinal regeneration. Her research interests also include stem cell fate engineering and precision drug delivery. Her work has been recognized by the American Chemical Society, Fight for Sight and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.
